Have you ever thought about the effect music has on you?
I was thinking about it in the car.
I was listening to 'The Earth Will Shake' by Thrice.
I could feel the music start in my very center and then flower out to the tips of my fingers and my toes.
I felt it open up my very being and let it pour through me.
In the car, of all places!
Music can tear open my heart and crush it.
And it can heal my wounds and kiss my emotional bruises.
What what life be without music? ugh. It even sucks just THINKING about it!

Music can make me feel:

desperate.
"How do I feel this good sober?"

original.
"Some of them want to use you, some of them want to get used by you."

nostalgic.
"You made it. You played it. Your shit is overrated."

silly.
"I like to move it move it!"

powerful.
"Aerials in the sky When you lose small mind You free your life"

sad.
"Last night I was writing about you. I know my screaming and shouting won't keep you."

calm.
"And she's trying to sleep it off with her head on my shoulder. And I'm trying to keep it out of my thoughts when I hold her."

crazy.
