Three Different Lives

"Who are any of us, really? We all have our public life, our private life…
And your secret life, the one that defines you."

-Dexter

Well, my public life isn't much. Anyone that sees me or meets me, sees a sweet girl. Nice to everyone, smiles a lot, friendly, and isn't afraid to have fun. A lot of fun. :)

The private life is where select people get to see a little more of me. Some people know that I write more than I breathe. I'm really sensitive, I cry easily, but I'm also sensitive to other peoples feelings. My heart is bigger than the moon. I dance too much, sing too loud, and I tend to steal hearts without even realizing it.

And then there's the secret life. Which, of course, I'm not inclined to totally disclose here. Then it wouldn't be a secret. But if it defines me, then that must mean that I'm a very sad person. I have more skeletons in my closet than I can count. I'm lonely 24/7. Fear controls a good portion of my life. Even though my heart is bigger than the moon, it's broken in a lot of places. And at the end of the day, it's inevitable that I'll be sleeping alone, every night.

  1. I like that you're very upfront and not afraid to say who and what you are :) I'm not either. I I like people to know what I'm about and could care less most times if they happen to complain about it. So many people in society sale "False Advertisement" of themselves...shame on em.
