When I have some of the most irrational fears on this earth?!
Here are some of my fears:
pregnant women
moths
grasshoppers
gore/massacres/murder
crossing the street
tornadoes
Sure I guess some of those, I'd be able to face my fears.moths
grasshoppers
gore/massacres/murder
crossing the street
tornadoes
But pregnant women?! Really?! Should I sit in a room full of pregnant women and see if I survive to overcome that fear? I don't think it's really necessary. And I want to get married when I'm older and make babies. Lots of babies! Woooo! Big family. Totally all for it. And the thought of me being pregnant doesn't scare me at all. But if I see an obviously pregnant women, I have paranoia to the max and I get real scared and anxious. Why? I don't know!! Moths and grasshoppers, I'm pretty sure I could conquer that fear. Just haven't really bothered with that one since it's not a serious fear. Crossing the street...kind of a silly fear, I know. And it doesn't keep me from crossing the street. I do it often. But I still get anxious every time. Tornadoes I don't really need to worry about either...it's just a lingering fear in the back of my head. Besides in order to face that fear I'd have to face a tornado. Think I'll pass on that one.
Here's the serious kicker: gore/massacre/murder.
If you've read my previous posts like The Kidnapping then you would know that I have issues with this one. My night terrors (or nightmares, whatever you wanna call them) have traumatized me to the point of insomnia. I can't drive because every time I get behind a wheel I see flashes of dead bodies and blood on the asphalt. If I can help it, I will never drive as long as i live. So to face these fears. My fears of going through a meat grinder or killing my friends...how in the fucking world do I face those?!?!
I fear Tornadoes...but don't want to face THAT one!
ReplyDeleteMy greatest fear is to be confined to a wheelchair. And it happened. Turns out it wasn't as bad as I thought. Lets watch Necropolis, or Dawn of the dead. Or zombieland. And we'll see if we can get you past that fear of driving thing.
ReplyDeletePregnant women? LOL!! I'm not afraid of them; but I am afraid of babies. And one day I want kids of my own...
