The reason why I have four dogs

That face. That face right there!
↓↓↓
That would be the face that says, "Don't you just wanna love me forever?" And I do, of course. That adorable face is Wilson. Our oldest dog, the one we've had the longest. We initially were fostering him while my mom's friend built her house, but we became so attached to him...and his previous owners thought it was too much a hassle to get him back, so we got to keep him. We've had him for a long time now, and hopefully longer. :)

And look at that!
Wilson and Sparks cuddling. :)

Sparks

Now this is Sparks. She's my dog. My baby girl. She's about 2 years old now. I adopted her when she was just a puppy. My friend Tyler's dog had puppies. I'd seen them previously and I wanted the black one, it was the one I planned on taking home. But...when I sat down in his backyard with all the puppies, Sparks was the only one that came to say hi. She climbed in my lap and licked my face. Well I was sold! I just had to have her! So I brought her home and after too many 'Can I keep her?!'s she finally got to stay. She pulled me out of one of my main cycles of depression, I just love her to death. She's absolutely brilliant. :)

King

This is our charity case dog. I'd originally got him for my ex for his birthday. I wanted him to have the best present ever. Sadly enough, he didn't really care much for his birthday present. I didn't understand it. All summer he kept saying how much he wanted his own dog....oh well. I just don't understand how someone cannot have room in their heart for a dog. King's previous owners abused him, and I just cannot let him go for fear that something like that might happen to him again. He's insecure, but probably one of our most affectionate dogs. He's practically glued to my mom's side. Haha. He's completely attached to her.

Don't ask me what compelled my sister Natalie to adopt this dog. Haha. It's not my type of dog at all, I'm usually more into the big dogs. Natalie adopted him from the shelter and even though he's an old fogie, he's ALWAYS wanting to play. ALWAYS. He's a boston terrier. And he sounds and looks kind of like a pig. But he's got this weird way of charming you. Especially during the winter when he gets cold and snuggles up to you...you just can't say no. No matter how bulgy his eyes are and no matter how bad he's snorting. Haha.

It's that face that dogs have. The pitiful, sorry, sad look in a dog's eyes that makes me want to take them all home and just love em all to death! Unfortunately I have neither the room nor the money to love that many dogs. We'll just have to stick with the ones we have. Maybe I should be a dog groomer? Hahaha.

Anyways, HOW THE HELL ARE YOU?!?!

Understand for Hurt

I feel like Charli does in this picture.

I have a cold and a fever! Shit! I hate it!
And I guess the ex-boyfriend/still good friend/the guy I'm still hung up on/the one I'll always love....still wants to take me to the Black Dahlia Murder Concert in October. And I really wanna go I mean it's only one of my favorite bands for cry eye! But not only that I'm still totally head over heels for this guy even though we broke up almost two months ago! And I honestly don't give a SHIT what anyone says it won't change the fact that i still want him. I get lots of the comments that sound sort of like:

"Give it time to get over him, some things just weren't meant to be."
"If he didn't see you for how special you were, then he wasn't right for you."
"You guys were too young to be getting serious anyways."

First of all. How the hell would YOU know what's meant to be and what isn't?! And how do you know getting 'serious' was a dumb idea?! How do you know he's not right for me? I don't know any of the answers to those questions. All I know is I want him, and I'm in love with him. Want to know what would be nice to hear from someone?

"Hey Becki, if it will make you feel any better you can come over to my house, and throw tomatoes at my fence in frustration."
"Wanna scream at the top of your lungs with me? And then I'll hold you while you cry? Just a suggestion."

Those are the type of things i really wouldn't mind hearing. I don't need someone to try to understand the situation, or understand me, just understand that I'm hurting. It helps to pray a little bit. I don't do it as often as i should. It helps knowing that not everything is in my hands; not everything is up to me.

You guys are going to get really tired of hearing about my stupid broken heart. Next subject.

I probably won't have to have surgery! My lower back/butt is doing so much better! I can sit down and it doesn't hurt! Now I just need to get over this cold. It's pretty brutal. Any suggestions on how to feel better? I have a fever, headache, sore throat, coughing, runny nose, the works. I really want someone to make me chicken noodle soup, but i hate being a burden on people. BLAH!
